My role for Patreon

Senior Staff Product Designer

As a product design lead, I helped define a long-term vision for Patreon’s creator tools, aligning creator needs with business goals. Partnering closely with product leadership, I set the team’s mission, success metrics, and roadmap. Evolving the product from "concept cars", early experiments to scaled launches through continuous creator feedback.

Your own blobby

Creators often felt stuck when they saw a blank profile avatar. We removed that friction by automatically generating a unique “blobby” inspired by the Patreon logo, allowing creators to keep moving without worrying about empty states.

We made it clear what creators were publishing by bringing all key controls into a single, visible space, giving them confidence in exactly what their fans would see.

Creators have a lot to manage, so we made sharing their work on social platforms effortless. We introduced share cards for every post type, showcasing their work with clear attribution and an easy path back to Patreon.
